At the monthly &nbsp;March&eacute; de Saint Barth, Dr. Yves Journo offered free hypertension screenings to the people of the island.

The Green Hearts and Le Coeur De Saint Barth have joined forces to fight against hypertension. Last Sunday at the monthly March&eacute; de Saint Barth, taking place every first Sunday of the month, cardiologist Dr. Yves Journo, Cabinet SOLOMON, H&ocirc;pital de Bruyn, was offering free blood pressure tests in an effort to combat hypertension on the island. As the cardiologist serving the island, Dr. Journo&rsquo;s work is actively preventing one of the leading causes of mortality in the Caribbean.&nbsp;
Events like this remind islanders to take care of their hearts, and improve the overall health of St Barth! The opportunity to recall the importance of fighting this risk factor for cardiovascular disease, also called hypertension by health professionals. High blood pressure is one of the main risk factors for cardiovascular diseases.
