Embracing a new level of luxury villa rentals: Villa Embrace

High atop the hills over the town of Gustavia on St Barth island sits not one, but two of the most spectacular sights to see: the breathtaking panoramic view is one of them, while the other eye-catcher is one of the most luxurious villas.

After five years in the making, Villa Embrace opened its doors in March, giving vacationers the opportunity to rent one of the most exclusive properties as a home away from home while on holiday. The owners brought together a top architect, developer, interior design team, and French artisans to build the property from the ground up.

The 1,100-square meter, four-storey hideaway just might be the closest thing to Heaven on Earth for the contemporary design-loving luxury traveler in search of perfection.

Blending the art, architecture, and refined aesthetics, the villa was designed to blend into its natural surroundings, quite literally speaking: the property was carved into a mountainside.  The airy interiors are of sand, stone and white tones.  The wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows spanning across the rooms create a seamless indoor-outdoor transition.  If Zen is what guests are after, they will certainly experience it here.

The five spacious suites come with private decks, and either an outdoor shower or a Japanese soaking tub. One of them also has a hammam.

The villa offers an abundance of fine amenities including Fendi Casa, B&B Italia, and India Mahdavi furnishings, Miele kitchen appliances in two fully equipped kitchens, an expansive Great Room, an indoor and outdoor dining rooms, a wine cellar, a cinema room, a game room, an elevator, a fitness room with Technogym equipment, and two infinity pools, one of which is 30 meters long, making it one of the largest in St. Barth. The walls are dressed with “Blue-Chip” paintings by artists including Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

The villa comes with hotel-style personal services including a butler and a round-the-clock chef.
